J. Penick Former President, Southern Police Institute Alum
I am a retired captain from Covington Kentucky Police Department and have known
Paula since the 1990s. She is very intelligent, detail-oriented and one of the hardest
working people I have ever met.
Paula has been associated with the Southern Police Institute at the University of
Louisville which is the oldest and most prestigious law enforcement programs in the
country. Thousands of local, state and federal agents have graduated from their
program and achieved the highest ranks of success.
As for my personal experience with Paula; I am a former president of the Southern
Police Institute Alumni Association, and in that position I was responsible for putting on
an international conference in 1999 in Louisville. Paula was invaluable to the
production of this conference. Her outstanding communication skills in working with the
different justice departments and political agencies really helped bring it all together.
Based on her excellent track record, I am confident Paula will continue to provide the
same outstanding service to the citizens in her home of Barren County. I strongly
endorse her for the position of Judge Executive of Barren County.
Sincerely,
J. Penick

Pastor Tim Former Pastor, Glasgow, Kentucky

I just heard that Paula Pedigo is running for Barren County Judge Executive. I am so thankful
for individuals like Paula who work tirelessly on issues which impact families and the next
generation! Paula has served on the Kentucky Corrections Commission, Juvenile Justice Advisory
Board, and South Central Kentucky Community and Technical College Board of Directors, and
numerous other boards and volunteer committees. She gives of her time and talent teaming up with
others to make everyone around her succeed.
I had the privilege to be her pastor for seven years, and Paula was always willing to host gatherings
in her home, and mentor children and youth. Her
talented “tickling of the ivories” (piano playing) for worship, special music, or offertories was such a
blessing at our church!
I heartily endorse Paula to serve as the next Barren County Judge Executive! Please vote for
Paula on May 19!!!
Prayers and Blessings,
Pastor Tim
